Bahrain’s Ambassador to US meets US Congressman and community leaders

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States of America, H.E. Shaikh Abdulla Bin Rashid Al Khalifa met with U.S Representative and member of the House Armed Services Committee, Congressman Doug Lamborn, and a number of community leaders at a luncheon hosted by Congressman Lamborn in honor of the Ambassador’s visit to Colorado. 

Congressman Lamborn welcomed H.E. the Ambassador in Colorado, hailing the role played by the Kingdom of Bahrain as a key ally to the US in promoting security, peace, and stability in the region, and in achieving peace and promoting freedom of religion and belief and peaceful coexistence. 

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the US, H.E. Shaikh Abdulla Bin Rashid Al Khalifa affirmed that Bahraini-US relations are not only long-standing but are characterized by depth and strategic partnership. He also praised the development of bilateral relations in all fields, namely in the fields of enhancing regional security, stability, and peace, in which the US plays a key role. 

He also expressed his pride in the Kingdom’s openness, underlining that Bahrain is now a model in enhancing the concept of achieving peace, respecting freedom of religions and beliefs, and peaceful coexistence, adding that this is the authentic Bahraini approach that was laid down by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with his insightful vision, familiar wisdom, and reform approach. H.E. Shaikh Abdulla Bin Rashid Al Khalifa praised the significant role played by the Christian community in Bahrain and its contributions in supporting the comprehensive development process. He wished Congressman Doug Lambourne continued success.
