Bahrain’s Ambassador to the US signs agreement Chief of Denver Police

Manama, Feb.13 (BNA): Bahrain’s Ambassador to the United States of America, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chief of Denver Police in the United States of America, Paul Pazin, regarding strengthening joint efforts between the two sides in the field of exchanging expertise and developing the performance of the community service police. 

The Ambassador praised the comprehensive reform approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which promotes the values of social cohesion and the role of the solid community partnership in strengthening it. 

In this regard, he affirmed that the community service police work with all parts of society and its institutions, in a way that contributes to serving the community in several areas, foremost of which is protecting its security and safety. 

He valued the efforts of the security bodies in combating organized and transitional crime. He also lauded the cooperation and coordination between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America in this regard. 

The Ambassador noted that the memorandum of understanding that was signed ensures the continuation of joint work to enhance security cooperation and coordination to develop community service police mechanisms to deal with the current and future developments and challenges. 

The signing was attended by the security attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Washington, Captain Hamad Khalil Al-Meer.
