Bahrain Ambassador to US meets students in Massachusetts

New York, Oct. 2 (BNA): Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Ambassador of Bahrain to the United States, met with a number of Bahraini students in the state of Massachusetts and surrounding states.

The ambassador held an open discussion with the students.

Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid affirmed the embassy’s commitment to following up on the requests and needs of the students, and reminded them to register at the embassy and reach out to its Cultural Attaché in order to facilitate communication.

He highlighted the importance of Bahrain joining the Global Entry Programme, which facilitates entry procedures at US airports.

The students offered condolences over the loss of the fallen servicemen of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) taskforce participating in Operation Decisive Storm and Operation Restoring Hope, who were stationed at the southern borders of Saudi Arabia.
